Reciprocal Borrowing Policy

To obtain a free JCPL borrower's card, a reciprocal borrower must show a valid resident library card from a library which participates in the Reciprocal Borrowing Program. 

Borrowing privileges allow reciprocal borrowers to borrow all materials which are available to residents of the JCPL service area.

PC's: PC’s providing public access to the Internet, research resources, spreadsheet and word processing software and to the library catalog will be available to reciprocal borrowers.

Interlibrary/intralibrary loan:  We will intralibrary loan (within the JCPL system) for reciprocal borrowers.  For interlibrary loans from other library systems, reciprocal borrowers must go to their own library.
