Be a JCPL Volunteer

Volunteers are an important part of the library. Their time and energy increase the library's ability to deliver its services to the community.

A variety of volunteer opportunities are available to you at the Jasper County Public Library: from weekly commitments, assisting monthly, to one-time special events, we have a place for you.

Perhaps you would like to assist with story time, or maintain our fish tank, or work at our book sale.

There are many positions, which match different schedules, skills, and interests. Volunteering is rewarding, exciting, and opens many doors of opportunity.

If your skills and interests match our needs, we'd love to have you as part of our volunteer team.

You must be at least 11 years of age or older to volunteer. An interview will be scheduled which will include filling out an application and discussing time commitments, skills, and interests. Individuals under the age of 18 must obtain parental permission.
