Come use our new service during National Library Week

Printer-friendly page

National Library Week honors libraries, librarians, and library staff all across the country, and is celebrated the week of April 14-19.

This special event will be observed by the Jasper County Public Library located in Rensselaer, DeMotte and Wheatfield with a Daily Prize Giveaway, during which prizes will randomly be given out to patrons each day of the week, and a Coloring Contest, open to ages 3-11.

To enter, pick up a coloring sheet at any branch of JCPL and return it by April 20. Coloring pages will be judged by age category.

As an added bonus, all three branches of JCPL invite our community to experience magazines in a whole new way.

During National Library Week, we will be launching a new service that will provide a variety of e-magazines for in-house use on the library’s iPads. Browse through your favorite magazines digitally while you relax in your favorite easy chair or cozy corner of any branch of JCPL!

This project is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Indiana State Library.
