In honor of the upcoming baseball season, the Republican will showcase the 1976 Rensselaer Central High School Bomber baseball team. Members of that team included (L to R) coach Jackie Goodrich, Randy Kiger, John Claussen, Mark Hannon, Bret Mattocks, Bob Reichert, Lane Mattocks, Alan Brunton, Ed Wood, Terry Phegley, Terry Kaufman and coach J. Scott Williams.
