Summer Reading Kick Off Week
This summer, young children are invited to “Dig Into Reading” at the Jasper County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program. Each branch of JCPL will be offering weekly programs, beginning with the following:
Tuesday, June 4 @ 10 am, children who have completed grades K-4 and who are signed up for Summer Reading will watch a movie and make a craft project @ the Wheatfield Library.
Tuesday, June 11, Indiana Wild’s Alligator Aaron will visit the Wheatfield Library @ 10 am, where children who have completed grades K-4 who are signed up for Summer Reading are invited to attend and the DeMotte Library @ 2 pm, where children age 4 through grade 4 who are signed up for Summer Reading are invited to attend.
Wednesday, June 12 @ 10 am, age toddler through teen who are signed up for Summer Reading are invited to attend an Ice Cream Social at the Rensselaer Library.
Registration is required to participate in the Jasper County Public Library’s Summer Reading Programs.
