Chat & Chew

Special programs are scheduled for teens every month at the Rensselaer Library during the school year. This program is free and open to all interested teens. All materials will be provided. Space is limited.

Wheatfield Teen Book Club

Open to teens in grades 6-12, discussions planned for the 3rd or 4th Thursday every month, depending on how many weeks are in the month. Come and discuss books with fellow readers and discover other ways to connect to books you love, including food from books and activities pulled from the books you read.

Things to do at the library

Jul 24, 2:00pm (Thursdays, June 12-July 31, 2:00pm)

Teens entering grades 5-12 may earn cash prizes and special coupons by reading.  Weekly programs will also be offered each Thursday at 2pm beginning June 12.  Registration begins May 19 and reading packets can be picked up beginning Monday, June 2.

Open to teens entering grades 5-12 who are signed up for the reading program.

Tue Jul 29, 5:30-7:30 pm

Bring your digital camera (or use ours) and create a photo of yourself that you can drop into various backgrounds of your choice. If you use your own camera, you must bring your cable so your photo can be copied to a standard PC laptop via a USB cable.
