Books that will be amazing in the future

books from the future - what could they be?

I have been lucky enough to get my hands on several advanced reader copies of soon-to-be-published teen books.  It is pretty awesome to have a book in your hands that no one else around you will have.  So here are some books that you should really be keeping an eye out for!

Far From You by Tess Sharpe
Publication Date: April 8, 2014 Publisher: Disney-Hyperion

I heard great things about this before I got my hands on it and wow was it great!  I am really glad that I got to read this before it came out because it allows me to promote like I am right now!   Here is the first line of the book:  Sophie Winters nearly died. Twice.  Do I really need to say anything else to convince you that you need to read this book?

Far From You tells a fantastic story while subtlety and beautifully weaving in a loving relationship between two girls. It is a heartbreaking story featuring murder, addiction, self-discovery and bisexuality. I strongly suggest picking it up.

This Side of Salvation by Jeri Smith-Ready
Publication Date: April 1, 2014 Publisher: Simon Pulse

Everyone mourns differently. When his older brother was killed, David got angry and aggressive. But his parents? They got religious. David’s still figuring out his relationship with a higher power, but there’s one thing he does know for sure: The closer he gets to new-girl Bailey, the better he feels.  Then his parents start cutting all their worldly ties to prepare for the Rush, the divine moment when the faithful will be whisked off to Heaven…and they want David to do the same.  David is torn.  Then the night of the Rush David comes home late to find that his parents have vanished.  Did the Rush really happen?

Keep an eye out for these books, and keep checking back at this blog because you can be the first to be reading what everyone else will find amazing in the future!!
