Teen Summer Reading Kick Off Week
Teens at the Jasper County Public Library are invited to look “Beneath the Surface” this summer and read books for prizes as well as attend weekly programs, designed with this age group in mind. Dates, times and ages for weekly teen programs at JCPL are as follows:
--Thursday, June 6 @ 2 pm, the Wheatfield Library invites teens who have completed grades 4-11 and who are signed up for “Books for Bucks: Beneath the Surface” to “Gaming With Wii & XBOX,” and on Thursday, June 13 @ 2 pm, “Recycled Craft” will be the program for teens who have completed grades 4-11 who are signed up for “Beneath the Surface.”
--Tuesday, June 12 @ 3:30 pm, the Rensselaer Library kicks off the “Beneath the Surface” Summer Reading Program for grades 6-12 with an Ice Cream Social. Registration is required.
--Thursday, June 13@ 2 pm, the DeMotte Library invites teens who are entering grades 5-12 and who are signed up for “Books for Bucks: Beneath the Surface” to “Bully Prevention” presented by ATA Martial Arts.
